Eva (Bridwell) Luther

Mrs. Eva B Luther, 95, of Greensboro passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Blumenthal’s Nursing Center. Eva was born in Greenville, SC, the daughter of the late JC & Mae Bridwell. In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband William “Carroll” Luther; brother, Norwood “Rock” Bridwell and sister Marie Bridwell Lineberger.

Eva’s greatest love was her family, and she was always the center of family celebrations. Over the years Eva worked as a bookkeeper for Greensboro Loom Reed and State Street Properties, was an avid member of Al anon and was actively involved in her church circle at Christ United Methodist Church. Eva will be remembered fondly by all the lives she has touched with her kindness, sense of humor and wisdom. Eva is survived by her daughter Lynne Robinson and husband Marty of Summerfield, NC; her daughter Julie Luther of Reidsville, NC; two grandchildren Blaze Thompson of Greensboro; and Troy Thompson and wife, Lisa also of Greensboro; four great-grandchildren Kennedy Thompson, Gabe Thompson, Walton Thompson and Anna Thompson all of Greensboro.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday April 5, 2023 at Westminster Gardens in Greensboro, N.C. with Rev. Samuel Moore.
