Obituary
Chê-Toussainte Samuru Pilan Berry, 31, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away on April 23, 2022. He entered this life on November 20, 1990, in Greensboro.
He matriculated through Guilford County Schools, graduating from N.C. A&T Middle College in 2008. He was a loving son and caregiver to his mother, Jodi, and a devoted and fun-loving friend to many. He met the love of his life, Ieshia, in 2019 and they joined in matrimony on February 29, 2020.
His mother, Josephine (Jodi) Berry, preceded him in death on April 7, 2021.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Ieshia Calhoun-Berry of Greensboro, North Carolina, his daughter, Sah’rinity Kai Harris Berry, his two stepdaughters, Iyana Elmore and Taylor McCray, and his brother, Tichawona Sondai Berry (Demetrius) of Greensboro, North Carolina. He is also survived by his nephews, a niece, his aunt and a host of cousins, loved ones and friends.
A celebration of his life will be Wednesday, May 4, 2022, 12:00 pm, at Evangel Fellowship Church, 2207 East Cone Blvd, Greensboro NC 27405 with Elder Avery Williamson, presiding. The family will receive friends from 11:30am-12:00pm prior to the service.
